Chances are if you’ve come to this particular page, you’ve come hungry. You are hungry to grow in your knowledge of God, His ways, and what you are here on this earth for. Am I right? Coming to Christ and accepting His precious gift of salvation is just the first step on a beautiful journey with Him. Whether you have been a Christian for just a short period of time or for several years, we all reach different points in life that require us to stretch a littler further in our faith. It gets lonely, confusing, and downright frustrating at times.
By God’s design, we are meant to be in relationship with others from our first breath to our last. We need someone to confide in, to push us, and to cheer us on. But during those hard and difficult times in life, we need wisdom. Having a faith-based mentor is the best avenue to gaining Godly counsel, true wisdom, and graceful accountability. Indeed, finding the right mentor can help you internalize God’s instructions, open your spirit to His transformative power, and birth dramatic life change. This is the difference mentoring can make!!
What does a SSFM Mentorship look like?
She Steps Forward Ministries is excited to use Flourish: A Mentoring Journey as the basis for our mentoring process. Flourish was developed through the partnership of Lifeway and Passion City Church. It is a yearlong study that embodies six vital areas for every believer to embrace:
- The Word
- Prayer
- Identity
- Calling
- Kinship
- Gratitude

The mentor-mentee process is a very special bond and our goal is to introduce you to the right person who can share this unique experience with you over the course of a year. Bottomline, mentorship takes committment and by working with a SSFM Mentor, we can assure you that your mentor is ready to invest in you for the duration of the process. Meeting locations and times will be agreed upon by you and your mentor. If you are ready to put in the work, she’ll be ready to put in the time.
